16. Jun, 2010

From the BBC official broadcast info site: “As football hooliganism continued to grow in the 1970s, seemingly unchecked, Panorama immersed itself in this shady world, getting close to some of Millwall’s notorious hooligan fans. Panorama: F Troop, Treatment and the Half-way Line was first broadcast on 14 November 1977.”

This broadcast is a gold mine of football terrace history, casual Millwall following in the 70s, Harry the Dog, Bobby the Wolf of the famous F-troop, Millwall Treatment, the lot. Where and how it all started, told by the people who started it. Enjoy this gem, most of you haven’t been born when this casual lot followed their team, so take notes and keep it strong.
